My name is Tammy Jackson and I am a
first grade teacher at Hamilton Elementary School in
Hamilton, Alabama. I have an EdS in Educational
Leadership, MA in Elementary Education, and BS in
Elementary / Early Childhood Education all from the
University of North Alabama.
I have been teaching for
fourteen years. I taught kindergarten for seven years
at Phillips Elementary School in Bear Creek, AL.
This is my seventh year teaching first grade at Hamilton
Elementary School in Hamilton, AL.
I married my husband, Stewart, in 2003
on Waikiki Beach in Hawaii. We live in Hamilton
with our six year old son, Eli. Eli is excited
about being in first grade this year! I enjoy spending
time with my family, traveling, spending time at the
lake boating and water-skiing, scrap booking, and
searching the internet for fun things to do in my
classroom.
I am so excited about being your
teacher this year. When I was a little girl I
wanted to be a teacher or a dolphin and whale
trainer. I am really glad I chose a teacher
because now I have the opportunity to know you.
We will have a great year learning to
read and do math. We will also have fun as we
discover how exciting learning can be.
